On Friday, May 8, a presentation of the book "Truth About Donbass" by Finnish patriot Janus Putkonen took place in Volgograd. Representatives of the Public Chamber of the Volgograd region, members of the Council of Trade Unions, journalists and public figures were invited to the event.
The honourary guest of the meeting was Sergey Dmitrievich Nazarov, Chairman of the Presidium of the regional branch of the all-Russian organization "Officers of Russia" in the Volgograd region, retired Major General of the militia, Honoured Lawyer of Russia, Candidate of Law, Professor of the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, who presented his poem to Janus.
The meeting was organised by the Public Chamber of the Volgograd Region, headed by Tatiana Nikolayevna Genze, who is also Chairman of the Volgograd Regional Council of Trade Unions and Chairman of the Presidium of the Council of Public Chambers of Russia. As a sign of gratitude, the Chairman presented Janus with a commemorative book "Stalingrad. Without a Statute of Limitations", released just a year earlier and exposing the historical truth about the hero city and its history.
